Ooni Halo Core brings spiral dough mixing to the countertop

Ooni’s compact mixer pairs a rotating bowl with spiral kneading, 20 speed settings and whisking and beating attachments. The announced $599 price is for the US market; European availability and pricing need separate confirmation.

Announced on 15 July and listed for sale from 4 August 2026, the Ooni Halo Core takes the pizza-oven brand into compact countertop mixers. Ooni describes it as a smaller, lighter alternative to its Halo Pro, designed around a rotating bowl, spiral dough hook and removable breaker bar. The company lists 20 speed settings from 60 to 300 rpm and says the mixer can handle more than six pounds of dough—enough for up to ten 12-inch pizzas or three large sourdough loaves. Whisking and beating attachments are also included, extending the machine beyond dough preparation. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Ooni announced a US retail price of $599 and availability through Ooni and several US retailers. That price should not be read as a European price or proof of local availability; neither is established by the announcement. For outdoor cooks, the practical question is whether a dedicated spiral mixer earns counter space for frequent pizza and bread making. Bowl capacity, cleaning, noise and performance with small dough batches are useful points to check in a hands-on review.
